- deceptive sales practice by not informing me of the price until after he had unlocked the car

I replaced a broken window on my vehicle earlier this year for $75, so when I locked my keys in my car at 10 am this morning I figured a locksmith would charge about that same amount or less to get the door open. I was in Colorado Springs when I locked myself out, so it didn’t take long for him to drive to where I was, and in about a minute he had the door open. After this, he informed me that he was charging me $175.

This man is lucky I started going to church because the only cheek I wanted to turn was his - with my fist - and to drive off. Had he informed me prior to opening the door how much he was going to charge I would not have accepted his service. I could have literally broken a window to get into my car and replaced it for less.

Take your business elsewhere to someone that works honestly and for a much more reasonable price.
