Under no circumstances should you hire Dan Lowe and Creative Renovations. The whole operation is unprofessional. He was contracted to remodel the interior of our home, two levels, including a kitchen and three bathrooms. There were many issues with his work that I had to find other people to fix. Dan Lowe does not take any responsibility for work that is unsafe, done incorrectly or doesn't look good. He will just take your money, do the work once and he will do it wrong. First, he installed a gas line that was not grounded. It leaked three times. It took me calling Xcel Energy for him to finally send out a plumber to fix it. In the master bathroom, the electrical was wired wrong (lights flickering on and off) and needed to be fixed by another electrician. The claw foot tub, the plumbing was incorrectly done and just leaks a ton when taking a bath. He installed a stair railing that was wobbly and not safe. He told me that they were decoration stairs and could not be more secure. I persisted and he stated he would fix it if I gave him more money. I contracted with another professional, who was able to fix the stair railing. In the kitchen, he installed every single one of the appliances incorrectly. The electrical was done wrong and if I did not have another professional fix it, I would be dealing with an electrical fire. We addressed these issues with him and of course he took no responsibility for it and blamed other people. I purchased a cabinet depth refrigerator that he installed to stick out inches from the cabinets, he stated it was not fixable. It was, just by someone else. He installed the cabinets that were off or the wrong size. He refused to change them. He even installed the wrong color for one cabinet, but did not fix it. Bottom line, Dan Lowe is a liar, unable to take responsibility and he will just do the job once and not fix it. He is only capable of taking your money. Save yourself time and money. If you hire him, you will have to hire another contractor to fix his faulty work.
