We've been practicing chiropractic for just shy of 15 years. The first few years we were in rural Pennsylvania, and now for the last 4+ years here in Lexington, KY. We relocated for the great climate, the possible equine adjusting opportunities, and the fact that Lexington is a highly ranked place to live nationally... and I do love it here!
We'd like to see chiropractic become preventative care- where people do the research, educate the Lexington community, and consolidate around a common terminology. We strive to to educate the community on the idea of getting their treatment BEFORE they have headaches or back pain. We'd like to see it common for most Americans to take an occasional tune-up from their chiropractor.
The question we hear most often is..."Is this damage to my spine reversible or at least stoppable?" I try and explain to patients that subluxation/degeneration is very stoppable...and in some cases, yes, even reversible!

We initially focus on controlling inflammation, halting the damage, and restoring normal motion patterns in the spine through chiropractic care. If the patient is open to the idea then we explore some of the more common things such as cold laser, whole food nutrition (Standard Process Labs), standardized herbal extracts (Mediherb), and exercises they can do.
