Our move through NYC Moving Manhattan Movers 10007 was not only a large move but also had several stop offs and pick ups from different locations and they pretty much nailed them all perfectly. First was our home in Bloomington, IN from a large 4 bedroom house that required full packaging services (200 assorted boxes supplied and packed) and also 3 large pieces needed what they called specialty packing, bubble wrapping, crating and furniture pads. After they loaded that they needed to head over to our storage unit 30 miles away and pack and load another several thousand pounds. Then they had to go to our sons house to pack and load a good amount of items. This took 2 days to do and then they headed over to our delivery address in Las Vegas. We met the driver Alex and his 2 helpers 5 days later for the offload and everything on that end went just as well as the pick-up portion of the move. We wound up tipping the gentleman Anthony being the foreman we gave him $500.00 and the 2 helpers $250.00 a piece and apparently people do not often tip movers because they were so thankful it was almost embarrassing. I would use them again if we ever had to move and rest assured, if anyone we know or come into contact with is moving in the future you can be certain that NYC Moving Manhattan Movers 10007 will always be considered due to the move and great service they provided on our move.

I found NYC Moving Manhattan Movers 10007 718-627-9292 a year ago and used them so my father wouldn't have to move me up three flights of stairs for an entire day. Mover came and unpacked my full truck in less than half an hour. It was nuts! At one point a man was practically carrying boxes on his head.

A year later, I was happy to hear mover were still in the moving business, so I trusted them with my entire move. I moved from a third floor apartment to another third floor apartment, and the entire experience was quick and painless.

My Move: I’ve done a local move from Manhattan to New Jersey from 2-bedroom apartment (2-nd floor) to 3 stories single-family house. All boxes I’ve packed and moved myself, so only furniture had been left for moving company.

Score: 5-stars++. Excellent. Highly recommended. I communicated with Gordon Munson over the phone and email. He “architected” the entire move and helped me with couple of “money saving” advises (because it was my first move). Professional communication. Excellent responsiveness. The moving team: Alex (fluent with both Russian and Romanian) and Armando. The team arrived 5 minute before the scheduled time. Assessed the actual volume in 5 min and accomplished the entire move in 5 hours with zero interference from my side. Both guys worked as “wrapping-packing-moving-unwrapping” machines! Extremely impressive. I was really happy that I decided to hire them instead of doing this move myself (what I actually considered after reading all negativities about moving companies in this and couple of other forums). Bottom line: I would recommend the team of George, Alex and Mitch to anyone!

I just want to tell you about my move. A few weeks ago I got a good job offer in another city, so I started my research in the internet for a good Moving Company. After making many calls with estimates with a very different price range I finally talked to a very friendly customer service lady. She was very comprehensive and explained me all twice if needed. We agreed on a free visual estimate so a few days later 2 movers showed up to do a visual estimate. I thought that I would have to take off a complete day at work, but since they arrived even earlier than schedule and calculated really fast, I only lost a few hours and could go back to work. So I scheduled the move because they offered me the best price from all the estimates I got from the different moving companies. Two days before the scheduled day the manager called me to verify the address and confirmed the details of the move. The day of the move the 3 guys showed up on time and you could immediately tell that they knew what they were doing! They packed and loaded my whole stuff very fast and delivered it faster than expected to my new home! After verifying the new stuff, I realized that nothing got really damaged, just some minor scratches which were covered by the insurance. So no problems at all! Since I had no trouble at all, they offered the best price and it went all very quickly and smoothly, I don´t hesitate to recommend them to anybody who is looking for a good moving company. All in all really a stress free move! Thanks for the great job!

We've moved several times over the years and used different companies; this company definitely was the best of the moving companies in every way. They were friendly over the phone and in person when the moving crew showed up; even though it was over 100 degrees, they didn't slow down or show any signs of wear. The move was a big one and we ordered full packing and unpacking service which they called white glove service and we HIGHLY recommend that service if you can. In our new home there were a few issues due to the parking and streets, their truck which was huge could not fit or even get within any reasonable walking distance had to park several miles away at a shopping center and they had to rent a smaller truck from Budget in order to deliver our furniture and boxes. They told us from the start that it may be a problem but we hoped and prayed for the best. The rental and parking situation put our delivery back a full day and even though their dispatcher Steven had already reserved a back-up rental, when James arrived to pick it up, they informed him that they didn't have it available and apologized and his dispatch then had to hunt down another rental truck which took hours and then finding a place to park this tremendous truck and trailer took another hour or so. We decided due to the size of our shipment to just start the next morning early instead of starting at 4:00 in the afternoon. No other hitches or delays or damages from then on. We appreciate everything their stuff did for us to alleviate any stresses associated with moving. They did an outstanding job and we will refer many other families to them. All in all great service, cheap rates, friendly customer service and very professional movers!

I am very happy with the quality of work these Movers provided to our family. We left our home area for job relocation and have looked and looked for accredited moving companies that are certified and have great recommendations. This one came up to be one of the top. I contacted them and customer service was just amazing. Jim, the GM, helped me through the process, provided me a quote quickly explaining all costs related to my move. No hidden charges. All information was presented on the quote. I shopped around a little bit and many companies were not providing me with the full picture and were not honest about possible fees. Thanks to Jim, he gave me a few tips on what questions needed to be asked to have the true answer. When I asked these questions to the competitors, there were hesitant to answer. This is when I knew it could have been a possible scam. I chose this Moving Company and I am very happy with my choice. It was the best move I realized so far. Comments: a) Don’t save on wrapping the furniture even if you move around the corner. Let the team to wrap everything in blankets and fix it with scotch tape, - walls in your new place may say “thank you” for that. b) In my opinion it is physically impossible for 2 movers to pack furniture only in 2-bed rooms apartment in 2 hours. 3 hours for packing should be used for estimation. c) Ask the customer service about pricelist for expenses you may have along the way (like scotch tape or boxes). It is good to know about them when you are budgeting your move.

I've moved 3 times in the past, most of the time with different companies but I just had the best move in my life on the last week with this one. They gave us a very accurate estimate over the phone and help us plan our move. Soon their local dispatch called us and confirmed the job and went over the details. He also seemed very polite and professional, and assured us everything is going as it planed and the movers will come tomorrow @ 9 am. Not only did they show up on time but they packed nearly our entire apartment. Shortly after arriving, the Forman provided us with detailed information about the day and they started to work right away. Thank god they came with extra boxes and moving supplies and actually that we didn't even realize we will be needed! The packing obviously took much longer but once we arrived at our house they unpacked us in record time and even help us to reassemble some of our furniture. This was a painless move and really had a great time with the movers. The guys were very nice and honest and they couldn’t make the move faster and more efficient and I must say, we were extremely pleased with their service. I was skeptical at first, reading all these reviews and wondered "really? everyone gives a 5 stars?" very upset and disappointed by my last relocation experience from another Manhattan moving company just few months before, I was extra careful this time about selecting a trustworthy service providers. Based on these reviews I gave it a try, and now I can tell you that these reviews are all real!! and you should not look anywhere else when you are hiring a moving company. They are polite, professional, and extremely pleasant to dealt with. The company and the moving staff accommodate my specific delivery time, Nathan said he will be here at 10:30 am and he arrived 10:30 am sharp. They put new pads to walk on in my apartment since the carpet is new. They went above and beyond, even hook up the washer and dryer for us.
Moving with this company, from the people in the office to the moving crews, I have had I would said a "perfect moving experience" and really am not exaggerated.

We hired this moving company based on our friend's recommendation, he is a real estate broker and has been the company's customer for a while. Using Nyc Moving Manhattan Movers was like having a friend move you, however unlike your actual friends these people can actually carry stuff up stairs, are organized and have a truck. I moved with their crew of 3 gentlemen and they showed up on time, stuck to a quoted price of $285 to move all of my stuff and the whole painless process took 3 hours to move my 1 bedroom from Soho to Upper West Side. I would definitely use Nyc Moving Manhattan Movers again and highly recommend their service if you want to make your next move hassle-free.

Best service ever received!?? I had a move with NYC Moving Manhattan Movers 10007 this Monday, they picked up and wrapped our furniture and delivered it from Soho to Hoboken, NJ. The service was excellent, these guys were very effective and hard-working during the entire move. We had an additional stop to pick up my values from Manhattan Mini Storage on West Side and they didn't charge me for that, they also didn't charge me for a travel time and it was very good since I saved $95 initially! Great service, good hourly rates, easy communication with the Company's Customer service! Will definitely call this moving company again for my next long distance move to Florida next month! At the drop off, they repeatedly offered to put the items in any area of our residence and offered to set everything up. "New York City Certified Movers helped the husband and I move from a one bedroom/loft in Brooklyn to a one bedroom in Manhattan exactly one month ago today. Good deal, on-time arrival at 10 AM as requested, super professional care, excellent service, friendly communication, efficient use of their time and our time. FYI: Book early if you desire a weekend move - with almost a month in advance we still had to settle for a Thursday or a Monday. Considering the savings (compared to our previous moves with a national chain) however, they were definitely worth taking the day off work.
