Dogs are welcome in certain rooms on a per case basis, however no cats. Unlike many other motels close to downtown, the Grand Traverse Motel offers an affordable alternative to high-priced motels close by. Completely renovated and updated, the Grand Traverse Motel is one of the few motels near the downtown Traverse City district that is still standing since being built in the 1950’s. The close proximity of the motel to downtown Traverse City isn’t the only amenity. It’s quaint style and comfort brings many who stay there, back to a time when they were kids.
