Frequently Asked Questions about Dogtown Anderson

Every groomer we have undergoes extensive training, which encompasses hours of hands-on experience with a diverse range of breeds. Our stylists are specifically educated on the unique requirements and trims for various breeds. All our staff members are thoroughly trained and equipped to ensure your pet not only looks and feels fantastic but also to accommodate your individual preferences.
No, please bring only treats and food (portioned into individual meals) only. Personal items can’t be used in a group setting. Please do not bring any raw food or any kind of jerky treats, animal bones, rawhides, bully sticks etc. We won’t be able to feed dogs these treats. Treats should be easily digestible.
No, dogs eat in crates so there is no chance of food aggression issues. If a dog will not eat in a crate or kennel, we will try outside of a crate but separated from other dogs. If a dog still does not eat, we will try to hand feed. If a dog does not eat for multiple meals, we will contact the owner and take action as needed. As soon as dogs are done eating, they go back to daycare.
No! Due to risk of salmonella poisoning and safe handing risks, we cannot serve your dog raw food while boarding. Fresh food is fine, just make sure it’s fresh and cooked thoroughly. Bringing food for future days frozen is also acceptable. (For example, farmer’s dog food).
Not necessarily. It’s dependent upon your dog’s training plan and whether the problem involves you. Talk to your trainer. It’s very likely that you can get training for your dog while you are not present. But either way is possible.
It is completely situation-dependent on how long your dog needs to be in behavioral daycare. Your dog may never be able to go back to normal daycare. Your dog may not even be able to remain in behavioral daycare if he or she is not getting better.
