How often should I take a SHRED415 class?
If you're new to Shred415, we encourage you to take 2-3 classes/week to see changes in your body. However, Shred415 can fit into anyone's fitness routine, so listen to your body and take classes as often as it feels good for you!
What does shred415 stand for?
The word "Shred" is a combination of "strength and "treadmills", the two foundations our workout. "415" stands for the four 15- minute intervals because this was the original format for all of our classes. Today you will see a variety of formats and segment length because each workout is programmed and written by the instructor. No two classes are alike!
What is the kids lounge?
At most of our Shred415 locations we offer a Kid's Lounge for our Shredders to bring their children for us to watch while they workout. We have support staff in the room with your child at all times-entertaining them with games, coloring, Netflix, etc. We accept children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age and we limit the number of children during each class time. Childcare is available during select class times for an additional small fee.
I am new to working out or have not been to the gym in forever, is this for me?
Shred415 is for everyone! Your instructor is there for you during your entire workout offering modifications, cueing, motivation, and energy. You set your pace on the treadmill and pick your own weights. We give walk, jog and run cues and provide modifications for all our exercises that include intensity. We welcome all levels of fitness!

How does shred415 differ from other workouts?
Shred415 is more than a workout. From the moment you walk into our studio, we want you to have the best experience possible. Our smiling support staff and enthusiastic instructors will always, welcome you into the studio as if it were your home away from home. Our instructors program their own workouts bringing their own personality, motivation, and style into every workout so that no two workouts are alike. Each class has scheduled transitions with the instructor taking you through each exercise and providing you with modifications along with music, energy, and hype.
What type of workout is SHRED415?
Shred415 is a high-intensity interval training group fitness class. What does that mean? You will experience bursts of intense movements both on the treadmill and floor to get your heart rate high, followed by recovery exercises to lower your heart rate back down. HIIT is great for cardiovascular conditioning and building muscle endurance. At Shred415, half of your time is spent on a treadmill in organized running/walking drills, and half of your time is spent on the floor with dumbbells doing organized strength training moves. And the best part? The lights are low and the music is pumping so there is lots of energy to keep you moving! It's an extremely effective workout that will keep you burning calories all day long!
