Typically, we do not have specific ‘sale’ days. However, Second Time Around always has multiple sale racks in our store. Often you will find brands such as St. John’s, Vince, Free People, Lilly Pulitzer, Lululemon, Escada, Chicos and Dressed to Kill on these sale racks.
Second Time Around is open seven days a week from 10:00am to 5:00pm Please check with us during the summer where we may have shortened hours.
We carry a small selection of home accessories, lamps and artwork. We specialize in handbags, shoes, clothing and dresses, sunglasses, scarves, sun hats and jewelry.
Our first process is to determine its authenticity in house. We have over 40 years experience dealing with high-end handbags, jewelry and clothing. We also use Entrupy luxury product authentication. Entrupy verifies the authenticity of the product using artificial intelligence, thus enabling businesses to secure inventory and transactions. After an item has gone through the Entrupy system, they provide a certificate of authenticity that will accompany the bag upon sale.
While we specialize in beautiful Italian leather bags, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Hermes, we accept all designer handbags. We have a unique collection of Prada, Gucci, Fendi, Escada, Tory Birch, Kate Spade , Michael Kors, Louis Vuittan, Gucci, Escada, Hermes, Judith Leiber and YSL. We also have vintage handbags from the 1950s and 1960s, made from Patent Leather, Lucite or Crocodile.
If we are doing a house visit, yes we will buy for all seasons. If this is an intake to our store, follow these guidelines: January 1st to August 31st: We recommend lightweight bright clothing such as Lilly Pulitzer, JMcLaughlin, Gretchen Scott, Zimmerman, Barbara, Gerwit, Robert Graham and Snappy Turtle type clothing. September 1st to October 31st: We recommend lightweight transitional fall clothing colors like burgundy, mustard and animal print. November 1st to December 15th: We accept holiday attire. Glitz and glam cocktail attire, clothing that is red, green, gold, and silver. Depending on weather and our current stock these dates are flexible.
If your clothing is already on hangers, bring them in on the hangers, and we will return the hangers immediately. Alternatively, you may gently fold the clothing and place them in shopping bags or garment bags.
There is no fee for house visits.
One of the things that sets Second Time Around apart from other consignment boutiques is our ability to do a home visit. We will go as far south as Miami, all the way west to Naples and north to Jupiter. There have been occasions where we have traveled to New York, New Jersey Northeast and Boston to clear out closets. This has helped our snowbirds downsize the second home with ease. Please call us to discuss the possibilities of a home visit.
